Claire did cry a lot at first (but I tried not to compare her to other babies). I'd say it only lasted a month or so. I remember going home on Labor Day when she was five weeks and she was way better! It won't last too long. :) Pretty soon she'll cry, and then when she's back in your arms she'll calm down immediately. Have fun!!
