House Arrest

Not much new here really, but here are some pics of what we've been doing a lot of lately -- helping Matt get ready for his deployment. He leaves for Afghanistan sometime in July. They get issued some pretty cool gear - a LOT of it too. These were taken about a month ago.

Other updates:

• Matt played mechanic again and replaced our alternator. Joella's stroller came in handy for toting it along on the walks to/from Autozone. Walks (plural) because Matt can't pass up a deal and decided to return / rebuy it to save some cash by ordering it online for in store pickup.
• After Matt got the car running again, our "house arrest" continued this weekend because I messed up and put Joella's car seat cover in the dryer. Thanks to craigslist it was only a minor inconvenience...
• Who else catches up on TV shows from the week with Hulu? Any other Modern Family or Flash Forward fans?

And finally, here's a peek into what I call Joella's "exploratory meals." I should just call them picnics.
